Cemetery Sexton/Maintenance Worker

Help Wanted: The City of Redfield, SD is accepting applications for the full-time position of Cemetery Sexton/maintenance worker. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, CDL, the ability to perform heavy manual work including the operation/maintenance of heavy equipment, and effective written and oral communication skills. Applications will be accepted at City Hall, 626 Main Street, Redfield, SD 57469. Redfield City Landfill

April 2 thru June 1, 2013
(Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Closed over noon hour)

*The free dumping privileges apply ONLY to City of Redfield resident customers who pay a monthly landfill charge on their city utility bill, or those holding a special landfill permit.* Tire disposal will still have a charge of $2.00 per tire up to 20 inches, and $5.00 per tire 20 inches and larger.

Tuesdays.......9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursdays..... 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturdays..... 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Closed Noon Hours Each Day

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Concrete, bricks, rock, concrete blocks, asphalt shingles, furniture, mattresses, carpet, sheetrock, scrap lumber, untreated wood, wood shingles, trees, tree branches, unbagged leaves and grass, refrigerators, freezers, & air conditioners (must have Freon removed and be tagged), washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters, & other scrap metal

NON-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, insulation, garden hose, rubber products, tin cans, fiberglass, raw garbage/household garbage, paint cans, styrofoam, clothes, ceiling tiles, fuel tanks, fencing wire, TV's, fish tanks, ashes, petroleum products

TIRE DISPOSAL: The following fees for disposal of tires at the rubble site are as follows:

Car tires (tires up to 20 inches)
Truck tires (20 inches and above)    
$2.00 each
$5.00 each
