Senior All-Star Basketball Games
All Star Players
Featuring the area's finest athletes from all classes of schools throughout Northeast SD. Area coaches submit nominations of their outstanding Senior girls and boys basketball players. Come and enjoy the two basketball games, the 3-point shoot off and more!

All events are held at the Redfield High School Greeno Building.

    4th of July Parade WW II 4-Wheel Mud Racing




    August 15, 2009 Bull-A-Rama

    bull - Bull-A-Rama Join us at the Spink County Fair Grounds for some good old-fashioned fun. Watch the Cowboys try to out last the bulls as they compete for the title, winners jacket and the $3000 in added money. There will be Mutton Busting, a Candy Toss, Concessions, Mechanical Bull Rides and a Barn Dance. We also have a "Make a Wish" foundation bull ride.

    The events are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. at the Spink County Fair Grounds on South Hwy 281.

    August 22, 2009 Triathlon
    spacerCome and watch 4-person teams compete in this progressive sporting contest. The teams will begin with the sporting clay pigeon shoot, then move on to Fisher Grove for a round of 9 hole golf, and end with bowling at Starters. There will be cash prizes for the top five teams. The entry fee is $75.00 per person. Is your team Registered? Space is limited so contact the Chamber Office early.




    pumpkin pickn' September 23, 2009 Pumpkin Picking Hay Ride

    A fun hayride for children ages 4th grade and under.

    The wagons are escorted by the Spink County Horse Club Riders to the pumpkin patch where the children pick out their own pumpkins! Come and watch the bright eyes and smiles as the children choose their pumpkin.

    We will contact the area schools when the pumpkins are ready as to the exact date and time. So keep watch - this is something you don’t want to miss. Lots of fun for all!

    October throughout Pheasant Hunting Season

    Pheasant Release Winner
    spacerThe Chamber releases four live-tagged pheasant roosters. Be the first to shoot and report the tagged rooster of the season and win a shotgun. Enjoy the American Legion Stag Night, pancake feeds and other community activities held during the season. Watch the local media for more information on what’s happening.

    November 7 & 8, 2009 12th Annual Gun Show
    hunter with gun spacerGuns, knives, books, and artwork are just a sample of what you will find at the Annual Gun Show held at the Redfield Armory; 309 West 3rd Street. There are lots of vendors buying and selling plus concessions.

    The hours are Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    Display runs from 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. at the Redfield Train Depot. What a sight for the children!

    Noon until 3:00 p.m.

    spacerSanta & Mrs.Claus
    arrives at 1:00 p.m. at the Redfield Train Depot to visit with the children and pass out treats. They will be there until 3:00 p.m.

    3:00 p.m. at the Cinema Theater on Main Street

    spacerThe Parade of Lights
    at 5:30 p.m. which runs down Main Street.

    Runs from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at all participating businesses. Lots of store specials and be sure to register that night only for the $500 in Redfield Bucks
