January 28, 2008	Annual Chamber Meeting Mixer
The Community and Chamber members get together to have an evening of relaxation to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and to look forward to the next year. New businesses are presented the First Dollar of Profit. Please notify the Chamber office at 472-0965 as to the number of people attending from your business. There is no cost to attend.

March 27, 2008	Northeast Area High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games
Featuring the area's finest athletes from all classes of schools throughout Northeast SD. Area coaches submit nominations of their outstanding Senior girls and boys basketball players. August 16, 2008	Bull-A-Rama
Join us at the Spink County Fair Grounds for some good old-fashioned fun. Watch the Cowboys try to out last the bulls as they compete for the title, winners jacket and the $3000 in added money. There will be Mutton Busting, a Candy Toss, Concessions, Mechanical Bull Rides and a Barn Dance. We also have a "Make a Wish" foundation bull ride. The events are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. at the Spink County Fair Grounds on South Hwy 281. For rider registration, please contact the contractor, "Bierema Rodeo Company", at (605) 259-3254. If you would like to sponsor a banner or advertise in the program, please contact Cathy at the Chamber Office (605-472-0965).

Bull-A-Rama

Join us at the Spink County Fair Grounds for some good old-fashioned fun. Watch the Cowboys try to out last the bulls as they compete for the title, winners jacket and the $3000 in added money. August 23, 2008	Triathlon
Come and watch 4-person teams compete in this progressive sporting contest. The teams will begin with the sporting clay pigeon shoot, then move on to Fisher Grove for a round of 9 hole golf, and end with bowling at Starters. There will be cash prizes for the top five teams. The entry fee is $75.00 per person. Is your team Registered? Space is limited so contact the Chamber Office early.

	September 24, 2008	Pumpkin Picking Hay Ride
	A fun hayride for children ages 4th grade and under. The wagons are escorted by the Spink County Horse Club Riders to the pumpkin patch where the children pick out their own pumpkins! Come and watch the bright eyes and smiles as the children choose their pumpkin. We will contact the area schools when the pumpkins are ready as to the exact date and time. October throughout Pheasant Hunting Season
The Chamber releases four live-tagged pheasant roosters. Be the first to shoot and report the tagged rooster of the season and win a shotgun. 11th Annual Gun Show

Guns, gun safes, clothes, coins, knives, books, and artwork are just a sample of what you will find at the Annual Gun Show held at the Redfield Armory; 309 West 3rd Street. There are over 20 vendors buying and selling plus concessions.

The hours are Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

December 12th 2008	Mail Your Letters to Santa enjoy cookies & punch while listening to a Christmas Story at the Golden Living Center Toy Trains, Popcorn & Cider at the Depot	3:30 - 5:30 PM 7:00 - 9:00 PM
December 13th 2008	Santa Day

Santa's Live Reindeer and Camel Display, and Toy Trains at the Depot
Display runs from 10:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. at the Redfield Train Depot. What a sight for the children!

Live Nativity Scene display at the Depot
Noon until 3:00 p.m.

Santa & Mrs.Claus
arrives at 1:00 p.m. at the Redfield Train Depot to visit with the children and pass out treats. They will be there until 3:00 p.m.

Senior Citizens' Christmas Cookie Bake Sale
Runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Spink County Senior Center. Something delicious for everyone!

Children's Movie Matinee
3:00 p.m. at the Cinema Theater on Main Street

Santa Sprint 5K: Race For Relay Fun Run/Walk
3:00 p.m. - Registration at the Armory
4:00 p.m. - Santa Sprint 5K Run & 2K Walk Main Street
5:00 p.m. - Diaper Dash & Jingle Bell Jog at RHS Track

and then...

The Parade of Lights
at 5:30 p.m. which runs down Main Street.

and to finish the day we have the...

Holiday Open House
Runs from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at all participating businesses. Lots of store specials and be sure to register that night only for the $500 in Redfield Bucks
to be given away!

December 14th 2008	Family Fun Day of Taffy Pulling, Toy Trains, Live Music, etc. at the Depot RACA Community Christmas Cantata at the United Methodist Church Santa's Auction at the Armory (Receipt Registration from 5:00 - 6:30 at the Armory)	1:00 - 4:00 PM 3:00 PM 7:00 PM
