spacer Physical and Occupational therapy are helpful in restoring, maintaining, and promoting overall fitness, health, and optimal quality of life. PT and OT helps to prevent the onset and progression of impairment, functional limitations, disability, changes in physical function, and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Physical and occupational therapists practice in a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, and community based settings.

The therapy department of CMH consists of a highly experience and qualified staff to fulfill your needs. The therapy staff has an outstanding 34 years of combined experience. Continuing education courses are attended regularly to offer our patients the latest and most effective treatment approach to specific injuries. All therapists must pass a national examination and be licensed by the state in which they practice. Though other kinds of practitioners offer some of these treatments and may present them as "physical therapy", physical and occupational therapy can be provided only by a qualified PT or PT Assistant and OT or OT Assistant.
